Had a nice weekend, albeit an exhausting one, which wasn't helped by the two 5.00am starts and my meds making me uber tired. Thursday flew to Dublin at an unearthly hour to go to my great aunt's 100th birthday. 'twas fun. Many relatives were met, they were all called John and Mary (and sometimes both, my family being weird and Catholic.) My great aunt is very well and enjoying being an hundred. Then came back to London on Saturday, again at an unearthly hour, having met assorted relatives on Friday, slept for a few hours, woke up, had the Talk of Much Doom and a small argument with my mother about going to Coventry, checked train times, went to Coventry and had a nice day and three quarters there.
If people are around the weekend after this it is my birthday that Tuesday, and it might be fun to go for drinks or a meal. I'm committed to someone elses birthday party that Friday but Saturday or Sunday are free. Maybe revive a tradition (well, create a tradition) and have it around the south bank?
