I have written elsewhere of my love of  sparkles and glitter. There are many sparkly, or semi sparkly things which have influenced this. But there is a certain amount of guilt (I almost typed gilt) everytime I go ^_________^ sequins/sparkles. And that, my friends, I blame on Eurovision. Eurovision, to a large extent, is responsible for negative associations of sparkles. (Which I may elaborate in an edit, but tackiness and not looking great). Although, this year, Spain *got* sparkles
